Family Gallmetzer Simmerle

It all started in the 50s, when our grandparents Georg Gallmetzer and Rosa Mahlknecht ran a small inn. Thanks to its proximity to the Madonna di Pietralba Pilgrimage Site, over the years it gained popularity and in the 70s, under Stefan Gallmetzer and his wife Emmi Huber, it turned into a small 3-star hotel.
In 2005 the hotel got a further star and, with the current owners Margareth Gallmetzer and John Simmerle, it became our beloved, homely 4-star Hotel Peter.
For three generations our family has been running the Hotel Peter in Nova Ponente. We love our hotel and, together with our long-term employees, every day we fill it with heartiness, passion and family traditions.
We welcome our guests like friends and love to take care of them with comfort and well-being in our comfortable oasis of peace.
