Petersberg
Monte San Pietro (1389 m) is a small 700 pl. village, situated at a 7 km distance from Nova Ponente. It is the ideal starting point for countless walks and excursions, home also of the highest golf course (1200 mts) in the whole province and the only one of its kind in South Tyrol.
Monte san Pietro is home also of the Madonna di Pietralba's shrine, where pilgrims from the whole Europe converge. During winter time Monte san Pietro is connected with the Latemar Ski Center through a free bus service. Monte san Pietro and Pietralba are ideal settings for cross-country skiing lovers. More than 100 kms of trails await hikers. 3 sled runs.
